travel booking

All I can say is that I am glad I don't have to use trains much in the UK. They may have improved on the slam door carriages (google search), but the service is generally still awful and overpriced at that. But if you do have to use UK trains, here are some links:

Eurostar www.eurostar.co.uk - Eurostar is the high-speed train service linking London, Ashford, Paris, Brussels, Lille, Avignon, Calais, Disneyland Resort Paris and the French Alps.

Airport Express - Gatwick, Heathrow and Stanstead Airport Express Trains are the fastest means between London and these airports. Trains depart every 15-30 minutes with a non-stop journey time of 30 minutes for Gatwick, 15 minutes for Heathrow and 45 minutes for Stanstead. The new, stylish trains operate seven days a week (365days) offering clean spacious and air-conditioned carriages with both First Class and Express Class accommodation and an at-seat refreshment facility service. Express TV gives the latest BBC news updates and mobiles can be used throughout the journey or choose our ‘Quiet Zones’ for a telephone and TV free environment:
